Lip Filler, Your Way!

Lip filler is one of the most popular aesthetic treatments we offer, with clients in their 20’s to their 60’s opting to plump their pouts! This treatment can be tailored to suit your needs and give you the results you’ve always dreamed of. Whether you just want to lessen your lip lines or add volume, we can do exactly what you want.

To give our clients even MORE options, we’ve recently started offering Restylane Refyne in a half syringe in addition to the full syringe and the rest of our filler lineup! When it comes to your options for lip filler, there are many to choose from. From Juvederm to Restylane, your desired look, longevity, and price range you can find exactly what you need at Juvly. Your aesthetic goals are one of the most important things to be discussed with your Master Provider when it comes to choosing the right filler for you. The Juvederm line of filler is produced by Allergan (the makers of Botox), and the Restylane line is produced by Galderma (the makers of Dysport.)

Both Juvederm and Restylane are FDA approved hyaluronic acid fillers, but there are a few minor differences in the two products. Both are proven to provide lasting results, and can be used for different purposes and desired outcomes. Restylane is more cohesive and structural, so it tends to stay where it is placed and provide more support. Microscopically, Juvederm is a smoother compound than Restylane, but Restylane is a higher concentration of crosslinked molecules of HA than Juvederm. So Restylane is a bit stiffer, and needs to be injected more precisely but this also means it could last longer. For some clients, these are the desirable results, but it needs to be carefully molded once injected! An experienced master provider can use this filler to build beautiful, volumized lips that need more structure than pout.

Most of our lip fillers are sold by the syringe; but now we are offering Restylane Refine in a half syringe! This is a great option for clients who want the most natural enhancement possible. This will not provide a huge amount of volume or structural change to your lips, but instead gently plump and provide symmetry to the existing shape. This helps to rejuvenate your smile, and smooth lip lines that have appeared over the years. If you’ve been feeling like your lips just don’t look as young as they used to anymore, but you don’t want to completely change your face opting for a half syringe may be best for you!

Our clients report little or no pain during their injection process with lip fillers. A topical numbing agent is applied, as well as a mild dose of lidocaine is added to each syringe of filler! This lidocaine actually will numb as you are injected, providing a comfortable and easy injection process. In addition, the needle used for these fillers are much thinner than the average medical needle, such as those used to draw blood. Hyaluronic Acid filler rarely causes reactions in most clients. After your treatment, you may experience side effects, such as swelling, redness, pain, bruising, headache and itching at injection site and tenderness. These are typically mild in severity and normally last less than two weeks in lips. As a general rule, most providers agree that you will see immediate results after your first treatment; however, full results will not be seen for a week to several weeks as swelling and bruising fades over time. It is important to follow-up with your provider in 2-3 weeks to be sure that you are both pleased with the results!
