Lets Watch: New York Fat Removal with Kybella by Stephanie

Minimally invasive cosmetic procedures such as Kybella, are becoming more and more focused and accurate. They not only remove different kinds of fine lines, furrows, scars and other defects, but now they can target specific areas of the body for fat removal. In the case of a treatment called Kybella, the target area is submental fullness, or a double chin. Our Master Providers here at Juvly are pleased to offer this treatment to our clients!

How Kybella Works
Kybella is deoxycholic acid, whose purpose is to enable the body to burn up the fat you ingest. When Kybella is injected, the membrane that encloses the fat cell ruptures, and the fat content is released. The body then absorbs the fat as it would normally, and passes the excrement naturally. While the fat cells are being destroyed, the other cells in the chin are unharmed.

What Happens During Kybella Treatment?
Before the treatment goes forward, our Master Provider has a consultation with the client. Our professionals need to take the persons medical history and make sure that they're a good candidate for Kybella treatment. This is important because several conditions can cause a double chin. One of them, for example is hyperthyroidism. Our Master Provider needs to make sure that the double chin is the result of fat and not a medical problem. We also discuss kybella cost and may share before and after photos and Kybella reviews.

Our clients should know that our Master Providers are skilled in the technique of injecting Kybella and are knowledgeable about the location of the nerves and muscles in the face. The client shouldn’t worry that a nerve or blood vessel could be accidentally hit during the procedure.

During the treatment, the area is first cleaned and prepared for injection. The Master Provder will then inject Kybella into the double chin with a fine needle. Usually, the client is given 12 to 20 injections during a session, though our specialists may give some clients more injections than this. The injection process is quick, lasting 1-2 minutes. The entire procedure takes about 20 minutes, and there's no recovery time. The client can go home or even go back to work directly after the treatment.

After Kybella Treatment
You'll want to bring a scarf after your Kybella treatment! Some bruising and swelling are to be expected after the injection, but they can be soothed with an ice pack. The client should rest for a couple of days and not engage in any strenuous activity. The swelling goes down after a few days, and the client will see improvement right away. The improvement continues, especially if the client returns for follow up treatments scheduled about four weeks apart. Kybella reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and they are one of the best options to remove your unwanted double chin!
